Winter Chills and Spellbinding Sceneries in Iceland

It’s a been awhile, but I’m finally back! 3 weeks in Scandinavia flew by like a daydream. From packing to planning and everything in between. It’s been so much fun to spend my first winter seeing real snow! Going from humid & sunny Georgia weather to frigid & windy Icelandic weather was a sure shocker. Give it 5 minutes and you’ll forget about the weather. No seriously! I wasn’t sure if my body felt numb to it or the utterly stunning landscapes of Iceland took over my senses. Probably a combination of both… From waterfalls galore, volcanic activity to…

Koh Phi Phi: The Quieter Side to a Backpacker’s Paradise

Koh Phi Phi (pronounced like Pee Pee) is a group of islands in the Andaman Sea. Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don make up Koh Phi Phi. I have not gotten a chance to visit in the autumn but can only imagine how romantic it is when the leaves turn. Winter months in Paris is chilling, frosty and utterly beautiful in the rain. With much less crowds, you won’t have…

I woke up this morning wishing that the sun would beam brightly through the window shades. That I could walk outside, slide open the glass door, see the pool and open waters with the sun rising above the dock…But none of that happened so I went back through my photos and relived the moments all over again as I laid there. We went with a group of friends and rented out an…

Where to eat in NYC? My top restaurants in New York City

I just returned from New York City and wanted to jot some of my favorites places down since I know it’s been awhile since my last post. New York City is one of my favorite places to find great food! This is the 5th time back and though I love exploring new options, there are places I can’t help but return to. So here’s a list of some of my favorite places to grub at. Lombardi’s Pizza: On a corner in Little Italy, Lombardi’s is the place to go for a delicious crispy, thin crusted pizza. The menu is not overly complicated…
