Koh Phi Phi: The Quieter Side to a Backpacker’s Paradise

Koh Phi Phi (pronounced like Pee Pee) is a group of islands in the Andaman Sea. Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don make up Koh Phi Phi. Phi Phi Don is the larger, welcomes more visitors and inhabited of the two. Phi Phi Leh is home to the famous Maya Bay, which was the set where The Beach was filmed. Phi Phi Don is only about 45 minutes by speed boat or 2 hours by ferry from Phuket and 1.5 hours by ferry from Krabi town. Paris For The Holidays – A Chillingly Romantic Escape

I’ve been to Paris in spring, summer and winter. Undeniably, Paris is one of my favorite places in any season. Paris is adorned with gorgeous blooms in spring. So here’s a list of some of my favorite places to grub at. Lombardi’s Pizza: On a corner in Little Italy, Lombardi’s is the place to go for a delicious crispy, thin crusted pizza. The menu is not overly complicated…

Cebu island is one of the many hundreds of surrounding islands that make up Philippines’ Central Visayas. It is home to some of most scenic places and definitely deserves a visit for any passionate traveler. I went in May, the beginning of typhoon season and actually was quite lucky since we hardly saw a bit of rain. I spent some time in Cebu city, Malapascua and Kalanggaman on a recent trip and want to share my experience as well as some things I look forward to doing in the future. There is plenty to do on Cebu island but takes a…
